THE HISTORYour inspiration

Crescent moon earrings are inspired by ancient Inca astrology.

This light-toned piece is delicately inlaid with a white and yellow mother-of-pearl shell, these passive pink tones are given by the rose quartz, and the emerald touch is due to the amazonite stone.

We know that the Incas came to acquire great astrological knowledge thanks to their constant astronomical observation.

It is also said that they had great knowledge of the moon, which they considered to be a divine being whose name is Mama Quilla.

Through their knowledge of the moon, they learned to predict times of rain and drought, thus choosing the right time to plant and harvest.
